用于滚针轴承的卡环是专门为滚针轴承设计的，在许多情况下，一般的卡环不能用于这些轴承。它们具有较低的截面高度和很高的刚性。它们由弹簧钢制成。

有用于轴和孔的Circlips，它们用于定位以防止轴承在轴向的移动。

如下图所示，Circlips的识别号由一个型号代码和一个尺寸组成。

滚针轴承用的Circlips是固定在沟槽中的，在沟槽底部有一定的压力。对于WR型轴用的Circlips，由于离心力的作用，夹持压力降低。

滚针轴承用卡环的安装尺寸见尺寸表。当使用这些卡环限制滚针保持架在轴向的移动时，建议在卡环和保持架之间使用垫片。低转速时不需要垫片。

当拆装工具难以触及Circlips，拆装困难，或拆装频率较高时，有必要考虑使用挡圈（JIS B 2804），尽管其截面高度较高。
